Fargo Player's Residence for Sale

Throughout the 1890s, Lee A. "Reddy" Roberts was a member of the various Fargo baseball teams, living at 611 8th St. S. in Fargo during this time. His father Charles owned the house, and Lee's mother may have been involved in its design. In a WPA interview later in his life, Roberts said he grew up at 606 9th St. S., he and is also listed at this address in 1898's directory.

In any event, the 8th St. house is currently for sale! It will only cost you $895,000 for the nine bedroom, eight bathroom, 14,000 square foot house, built in 1883. (The Roberts family sold the house in 1899.)
